A beginning of something new
We have all realized that we are different to most by now
The changes that we have gone through during our lives,have been dramatic to say the least
And at what ages did thes changes take place we know we are not al the same each one of us has different and unique talents that we have had to get used too and powers that we cannot even imagine we would have had
I remember when I was young I new I was different in some way but wasnt sure how the feelings that I had and the feelings I felt from others
About a mile away from our home there live a man al the kids kept away from him because of the rumours that went around about him
One day I was going to the shops and see him working away in his garden
He was about 30  and I remember standing near his gate and wondering if the rumours were true
He turned and saw me looking at him and stopped what he was doing
He looked at me and I looked strait into his eyes
Why were all the kids so scared of him?
He walked to the gate no expression on his face at all
When he reached the gate he asked why I hadnt run by now all the other kids do
Why? I asked do they say you are bad
Because they cannot understand and never will he replied
Oh I said and walked away
Each time I went to the shops I would stop out his house and wonder what he meant
We started to talk quite often and he eventually explain that he was in a coven
At 13 I never had any idea what a coven was but something inside me needed to know more
One day I went to his house we talked and he said he would be away for the weekend at the coven
Whats it like I asked him all he replied was why dont you find out
On the way home those words echoed in my head  why dont I find out was he inviteing me ?
I told my parents I would be sleeping at a friends at the weekend and on the Friday I took my rucksack and went to johns house
Are you still going I asked him yes he replied and I see you are still wanting t find out what it is like
Yes I replied I have told my parents that I am staying at a friends for the weekend
Then it looks like you are ready he replied
What did he mean looks like im ready
I thought about those words all the way to where we were going
Woban abbey set in the country it looked like a giant mansion
It was already dark when we arrived and the huge car park was full
He told me I was to wait inside the entrance until I was sent for as this was how things were done
I wondered where all the owners of the cars were
This place was huge after aboiut an hour a man came he was wearing like a long grey gown with a hood he reminded me of a monk  but he wasnt he had what I thought was a funny shaped star on a chain around his neck
You may enter he said
Enter what I thought and as we walked he never spoke even when I tried asking questions
We came to a big set of double doors and as we got closer they opened  and as we entered I realized no eon had opened them it was like a huge dining hall rows of chairs filled with people all dressed in the same way and with the same funny looking star around their necks
At the front was a huge table with 13 seats the center one was empty all the others were filled and john was in one of them
A single chair was placed inbetween the front table and the rest of the people and I was directed to sit in it
I could hear people mumbling to each other and feel their eys at the back of methere was a door to the side of me and after a while it opened
A man in a black gown walked out the hood covering his face everyone stood up and as I looked I see john urging me to stand
As this figure took his place in the empty seat I felt some thing strange
It was like energy surging through the whole room and felt so strong
As the everything went so quiet and as he removed his hood I see his face old yet so bright his hair long and white as was his beard
Macrom they called him and the bright sort of glow that surrouned him was where the energy was coming from
And as he stood the words that came out echoed inside my body
Welcome my son I have been waiting for you
Come take your place with your true kind
My true kind and as I looked at him I realized  what they all were
Vampires
I was a vampyre and as a goblet was fetched to me I realized what was in it bright thick red blood
Drink and belong he said
And as I looked inside a feeling I had never felt before came to me like a hunger a craveing and as I took the first taste my body screamed every single part seemed to tingle and sip after sip I felt myself get stronger inside now I knew what I was and never again would I feel that I didnt belong or lonely
And now as I look back I say thankyou john for takeing me home and to my true father
